How do I get a certified translation in Cluj?
Send your document to TransMondo (online, on WhatsApp at +40 722 750 405, by email at traduceri@tmo.ro, or at the office on Str. Pavel Roșca no. 1, Cluj-Napoca). You receive a price and deadline, confirm the order, and the translation is produced and stamped by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice. We deliver at the office, by email or by courier.
What’s the difference between a certified and a notarized (sworn) translation?
A certified translation is produced and stamped by a translator authorized by the Ministry of Justice. A notarized translation is that same certified translation, with the translator’s signature legalized by a notary public. Some institutions, especially abroad, require the notarized version. TransMondo provides both.
How much does a certified translation cost in Cluj?
At TransMondo, translations start from 65 lei per page into Romanian (from EN, FR, DE, ES, IT, HU, NL) and from 70 lei per page from Romanian into a foreign language, where one page = 1,500 characters without spaces. Standardized documents such as certificates and diplomas are priced per physical page. Rare languages, specialized fields and rush service are quoted individually. Estimates are free.
How long does a translation take?
For major languages, the usual pace is about 8-10 pages per working day. Short documents (certificates, criminal-record extracts) can be ready the same day. Rush service is available.
What is the Hague apostille and when do I need it?
The apostille is a stamp confirming the authenticity of an official document so it is recognized in another Hague Convention country. You need it when using Romanian documents abroad — for study, work or marriage, for example. TransMondo prepares and apostilles documents for you.
Can I order translations online, from another city or from abroad?
Yes. Send your document online or on WhatsApp, receive the quote and pay, and we deliver the translation by email (PDF) or courier, anywhere in Romania and internationally. You don’t need to come to the office in person.
Are TransMondo translations officially accepted?
Yes. Our translations are produced by translators authorized by the Romanian Ministry of Justice and are accepted by public and private institutions. For documents used abroad we can add notarization and the Hague apostille as needed.
